Purpose: St. Joseph's Health Centre is a community teaching hospital sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph and affiliated with the University of Toronto. The health care facility offers a broad range of primary and secondary level programs as well as selected tertiary care programs. Services include general medical and surgical, mental health, rehabilitation, obstetrical and paediatric, emergency and out-patient, family support and health promotion, and illness prevention. Facilities include a Women's Health Centre, Family Medicine Centre, Detoxification Unit, Just For Kids Clinic, a Community Health Centre, Elderly Community Health Services and a Renal Therapy Centre .
