Purpose: Established in 1955, LRFC supports Canadian research into leukemia and related blood diseases, the causes, new treatment and an ultimate cure. Grants are awarded on merit by a Scientific Review Panel. LRFC provides university studentships and responds to requests for information in laymen's terms. Yearlong fundraising, Leukemia Awareness Month -- June.
