Purpose: Founded in 1982, Family Service Canada is a not-for-profit, national, voluntary organization representing the concerns of families and family-serving agencies, corporations, government agencies at all three levels, and interested individuals.
The objective of Family Service Canada is to promote and ensure the best possible policies and services for Canadian families, and to promote families as the primary source of nurturing and development of individuals.
Partnership in Family Service Canada is a double investment in families: increasing public awareness of the issues involved, through information distribution and public events; and raising the standards of service, through professional and organization development.
