Highlights: "New Beginnings" followup program has proved to be a firm foundation for women and children who have left the abusive relationship and set up independently. The program has been in effect since March, 1990. To watch the growth and strength in the women, being passed down to the children is indeed a wonderful experience. The women give one another the coura]ge to continue their personal journey towards a healthy, violent-free lifestyle which hopefully will help break the cycle of family violence.
