MayDay 2014: Setting the Stage for Change

The United Mayday Committee's annual celebration of the international workers holiday will be held on Saturday, May 3rd at the Steelworker's Hall, 25 Cecil Street. Endorsed by dozens of labour, political, community and solidarity organizations.
Speakers, Live Music, Poetry and Dance, Food and Refreshments
Speakers include Fred Hahn, President of CUPE Ontario, Tzazná de las Tunas, an organizer with Justicia for Migrant Workers, and Sam Hammond, Labour Secretary of the Communist Party of Canada.
Performers include The Araz Dance and Music Group, poets Patrick Connors and Jeannine Pitas, singer-songwriter Drew Gonsalves (of the popular band Kobo Town), spoken-word artist and multi-instrumentalist Beny Esguerra and singer-songwriter Zack Morgenstern.
