LeftWords Festival of Books and Ideas

The LeftWords Festival of Books and Ideas is a free public event that celebrates and promotes the work of Canadian and international writers and thinkers - especially those whose works appear in books and magazines by Canadian independent publishers. Canadian authors will be on hand for presentations on topics such as food security, women in a globalizing world, health activism and disability, plus the launch of the Socialist Register 2013. Canadian book publishers, booksellers and magazines will be on hand with great deals.
The Oakham House Café will be open and selling fair trade organic coffee, great sandwiches, and snacks.
