Why should I care about the unprecedented melting of Arctic summer ice in 2012?

November 13, 2012

Video/Films and discussion around climate change and the effects of the melting the Artic Summer Ice in 2012
Paul Beckwith, Ph.D. candidate at Ottawa U., graduated in engineering and physics prior to undertaking his thesis on abrupt climate change, climatology, and meteorology. He has presented before committees on Parliament Hill, as recently at last June. We will view video of his statements on the Hill this past September.
We will enact transcript from Hansard (September 26 '12) as MPs Megan Leslie and Dennis Bevington called for an emergency debate in Parliament on the implications of this unprecedented melting.
What can we as citizens do?
