Defend the right to dissent

November 09, 2012

Solidarity with the 3,000 charged during the Quebec Student Strike!

Dissent is a positive force that leads to change. Civil liberties are currently on fragile grounds as 3,000 students in Quebec have been charged using municipal by-laws in attempt to silence dissent.

Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois is one of three thousand students in Quebec facing outrageous charges for exercising the right to free speech and protest.

Gabriel will receive his sentence this Friday November 9th, 2012. Students in Montreal will take the streets Friday evening - let's join them and many others across Ontario and Quebec to protect the right to resist and the right to dissent.
