Democracy Environment Education Peace: TLC Summer Institute Workshops & Courses (various dates)

The Transformative Learning Centre is based at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto. The TLC Approach to Transformative learning involves experiencing a deep, structural shift in basic premises of thought, feelings, and actions. It is a shift of consciousness that dramatically and permanently alters our way of being in the world.
The Transformative Learning Centre Summer Institute is a participatory learning event that brings together Canadian and international activists, academics, practitioners and community members to share ideas and facilitate learning. Throughout the three weeks, participants take part in interactive short courses and workshops combining theory and practice, on topics such as dream work, ecological wisdom and the PeaceMeal Project!
The theme for the 2012 TLC Summer Institute is DEEP LEADERSHIP! Democracy, Environment, Education and Peace!
Summer Institute Workshops and Courses:
We are offering a wonderful variety of 20 hour workshops, an 8 workshop, a 5 hour workshop as well as an 8 hour course and 5 courses at this year's Institute. There are a lot of offerings to choose from!
