Buyer Beware: Deceptive Food Labels

Did you know that your whole-grain bread is actually made with about 40 percent white flour? Canadian food labelling requirements do not make it easy for consumers to determine the nutritional value of packaged foods. This lecture will expose some of the most common pitfalls of nutritional labelling and indicate how to avoid them.
