Eastern GTA Eco Summit

“Developing an Environmental Agenda for the Eastern GTA “
The Eastern GTA Eco Summit will bring together organizations, businesses, students and residents to begin developing an environmental agenda for the Eastern GTA. Our aim is to harness the passion for the environment already present in the region in order to move forward towards a sustainable future.
In addition to an Eco Fair, the Summit will include several breakout sessons throughout the day covering a range of topics. Topics will include:
- Parks and Conservation
- Sustainable Food
- Green Energy
- Transportation
The event is open to environmental groups, residents, businesses, media and students in the GTA. The event is free
The Summit is hosted by the U of T,Scarborough campus, Sustainability Office and is in partnership with Live Green Toronto,
the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority , Toronto Park People and Evergreen.
