Group Decision-Making Workshop

January 22, 2012

How movement groups make decisions has a big impact on our politics, our effectiveness, and the quality of our activist experience. It can be a major challange to find the model that has the right mix of inclusiveness, accountability, and efficiency for your group.
This workshop will explore different decision-making and organizational models used by activist and advocacy groups, such as consensus, voting, spokescouncils, and hybrid varieties. We will also use tools and exercises to help you identify and address solutions to some of the decision-making challenges your group might be experiencing.
