SPRiNG - Superfluous Corporate Sustainability vs. the Real Deal

November 15, 2011

Topic: Superfluous Corporate Sustainability vs. the Real Deal
Expert Speaker & Facilitator: Maarten Sluimers, Sustainability Manager, ING DIRECT Canada
---
SPRiNG's (Sustainability Professionals Resource & Networking Group) purpose is to provide an informal yet intelligent, respectful and no nonsense venue for professionals to share their knowledge, tools, resources and connections with their peers in sustainability.
Maarten Sluimers speaks to the issue of all the superfluous, high-level talk of corporate sustainability, how it's missing the mark and what honest, more substantial action towards sustainability really is.
Mr. Sluimers' talk will lead into a roundtable dialogue with the attending sustainability professionals, creating a forum wherein more insightful and critical understanding may come to light regarding the issue.
