Chalk 4 Peace

September 10, 2011

"Chalk4Peace" is a very simple, fun and inexpensive way for people to come together to express themselves through the non-violent act of chalk drawing (which is not illegal, nor vandalism). This is a grassroots event which raises awareness about global peace and takes donations for War Child Canada during the event. This is not a political event, just a peaceful one that puts our city on the map and brings people together to be creative and peaceful/playful. Free performances throughout the day from a variety of local acts (JohNNy SiZZle, Bobby Stahr, Johnny Broadway and more). Musicians/Bands start at 2:00 pm. Drum Jam at 6:00 pm.
Everyone Welcome. Free Admission.

Time: 1:30 pm - 6:30 pm
Venue: Vimy Ridge Park
Location: Portage Ave. & Home St. Winnipeg, MB
