Ecocity World Summit 2011

August 22, 2011 to August 26, 2011

Ecocity 2011 is 9th in the International Ecocity Conference series founded in 1990 by Richard Register. The first summit was held in Berkeley, California on the theme “Cities and towns are the largest things humans build and the way we’re building them is destroying the planet. Why not, instead, build cities in balance with nature?” Since then the International Ecocity Conference Series has been held in six other countries.
