Connexions Calendar

Hillside Festival, Guelph

July 22, 2011 to July 24, 2011

One of Canada's Great Summer Music Experiences

Hillside began in 1984 as local gathering of musical friends in Guelph, Ontario. Today, it is one of Canada's best-loved music festivals with over 50 musical performances on five stages over three days during the last weekend in July.

Held at Guelph Lake conservation area on an island connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway, the festival is anchored by the Hillside Community permanent main stage, a dramatic outdoor performance space with a living roof and gracefully arched acoustical wooden ceiling.

Hillside is renowned for its artistic lineup, a stunning blend of up-and-coming Canadian performers, world artists, and local talent. The program is always richly diverse and highly entertaining.
