JAWS FALL CAMP

September 23, 2011 to September 25, 2011

Three tracks to help you focus on your professional and personal growth will be offered at JAWS CAMP 2011. JAWS CAMP (Conference and Mentoring Project) has a 26-year history of bringing great programs to JAWS members. 2011 is no exception. The three-track program will offer attendees an opportunity to explore significant areas of interest to women journalists.
Hands-on training along with in-depth discussion about the future of publishing and the women who are on the forefront of digital journalism. Sessions will include: funding a journalism career shift, building your journalism brand online, and breaking into academia.

The issues of our day: women in war, the future of our industry, sex trafficking and issues facing the New South. Hear and meet key women executives who are leading the digital journalism revolution. Learn about how women cover war and what we face on the job. Learn about issues that you can cover in your own communities. Sessions will include a panel with women war correspondents; an in-depth investigation of sex trafficking through the New South and beyond; and the future of publishing.
$265 Includes Friday dinner, breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast and dinner on Sunday.
Bonus session on Friday or Sunday: $50
