The 4th Annual Sustainability Week at Saint Mary's University is on March 14-17 2011. Our Keynote Event during the week:

ACADEMY AWARD WINNING AMERICAN MOVIE DIRECTOR turned environmental activist Michael Wadleigh will be on Saint Mary's University campus during Sustainability Week March 14-17, 2011. He will be speaking in classes and giving a speech at the Community Event on March 15 under the name of “Homo sapiens report: the Future of Humanity” at Scotiabank Theatre @ 7 PM . Wadleigh won an Academy Award for his groundbreaking documentary about the 1969 Woodstock Festival. He left movie making after becoming disenchanted with Hollywood and has since pursued sustainable initiatives. He is founder of the Homo Sapiens Foundation.
