Connexions Calendar

reConvergence

February 19, 2011

Join the Lower Mainland's community organizations for a day of workshops, discussions, activities and information tables, all from an anti-capitalist, anti-colonial, and anti-imperialist perspective. One year later: An anti-capitalist gathering, is an opportunity to look forward and envision a future worth working for and living in! Hear what Lower Mainland community groups see as the biggest challenges in front of us, and how they are working with others to make a difference.

Get to know many local grassroots organizations and how they are working to end institutions of oppression and create alternatives. Participate and further our collective understanding, and the tools for building solidarity across movements for social, economic, and political change. A day that will focus on the effects of capitalism from the personal to the global, on building alternatives, sustaining our organizing and building momentum in the movement.

Let's share, strategize, and build together.

This is an accessible and child-friendly space.
