Tom Rand presents Kick the Fossil Fuel Habit

Thursday November 25, 2010 the Niagara Environmental Corps (NEC) will be hosting Tom Rand at Niagara College’s Niagara-on-the-Lake campus. Beginning at 7pm in the Yerich Auditorium students, staff, faculty and the community are welcome to attend this free one hour presentation from the Niagara-on-the Lake native. (www.tomrand.net)

Whether you are interested in the environment, business, technology or hospitality, Tom has a bare-knuckled, high-energy and very straightforward speaking style sure to engage and inform.

Please join the NEC on Thursday November 25 at 7pm in the Yerich auditorium. You will have an opportunity to ask Tom questions about his book and copies will be drawn as prizes, courtesy of the NEC.

After the presentation join us at the Armoury from 8pm-10pm for Niagara College’s first student run Green Drinks event. Hear live acoustic music from Cottage Brew and enjoy discussion and networking with environmental professionals and students.
