Earth Summit 2012 Campaign Launch - Celebrate Sustainability

Join us in shaping our common future! A fundraiser featuring an eco-fashion show of award winning designers, live painting show to a contemporary violin performance, dancing and a Call to Action by leading sustainability thinkers will launch the Earth Summit 2012, Canada-wide Campaign. The Campaign encourages Canadian civil society to get involved in the sustainable development discussions in the lead-up to the Earth Summit 2012, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The campaign is organized by The Canadian Earth Summit Coalition, a group of networks, non-profits, research organizations and individuals working towards Canadian leadership at Earth Summit 2012 (formally known as United Nations Conference for Sustainable Development 2012).

Sustainability Speakers:

William (Bill) Rees - Director of the One Earth Initiative, Professor and creator of the Ecological Footprint.

Vanessa Timmer - Co-founder and Executive Director of the One Earth Initiative, co-host of The Sustainable Region, an award-winning television show.

Nicole Bridger - internationally recognized, award-winning eco designer will front the fashion show.
