David Korten to speak in Ottawa

David Korten, internationally-renowned economist and author of "When Corporations Rule the World", will be speaking in Ottawa on the evening of October 29th at 7 p.m. at the Bronson Centre.

His presentation will touch on issues raised in his books "The Great Turning: From Empire to Earth Community", and "Agenda for a New Economy: From Phantom Wealth to Real Wealth".

After David’s presentation, a conversational response will be heard from Bruce Campbell of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, Tony Clarke of the Polaris Institute and Kathy Vandergrift of Citizens for Public Justice.

On October 30th, Korten will attend a follow up workshop at the Bronson Centre between 9:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Tickets for Friday evening are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

Tickets for Friday and Saturday are $25 in advance.
