The Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions campaign against Israel has been an extremely contentious issue on campuses around the world. Its supporters see it as an effective means of pressuring Israel to uphold international law. Its critics see it as rife with double-standards, and as a counter-productive approach to resolving the Israel/Palestine conflict.
The Middle East History and Theory Workshop would like to acknowledge the endorsement of the Graduate Students Union Social Justice Committee at the University of Toronto:
