That's Women's Work - call for artists, artisans, furniture makers, designers, textile makers, seamstresses, potters, creators and builders

October 20, 2010

A call for artists, artisans, furniture makers, designers, textile makers, seamstresses, potters, creators and builders.

That's Women's Work aims to highlight the work of local self-identified women artists and artisans with the goal of earning a living wage from their work.

Beyond the Beige Box will provide local and green options for home décor and furnishings to condo and apartment dwellers who would normally seek out design/ decoration and/or furniture at big box stores such as IKEA, Pottery Barn, Pier One etc.

The Specs

The event will occur on Wed October 20th, event from 2-8pm with set up time starting at 12pm. Unfortunately, this location has stairs but it is also centrally located, has parking and is a large open space- essentially a blank canvas.
