Petits d'Hommes: An International Symposium on the Rights of the Child

The Office of the Ombudsman and Child and Youth Advocate of New Brunswick, in partnership with AOMF, AFAPDP and ARCNDH, is hosting an international symposium on the rights of Francophone children and youth and the institutional mechanisms necessary for the implementation of these rights.

The symposium will focus on the rights of francophone children and youth and the institutional mechanisms necessary for the implementation of these rights. Particular attention will be placed on the voices of youth, which is the principle theme of the United Nations International Year of Youth, currently underway. The symposium will seek to engage youth, who will be invited to join the discussions and workshops in order to share their opinions relating to the symposium's themes, including a search for the best means and mechanisms to engage and empower children and youth.

$200 registration fee (Fees may be waived for youth participants)

Time: 6 pm- 8 pm (Thursday); 9 am- 3:30 pm (Friday); 9 am- 7 pm (Saturday)
