Beit Zatoun is pleased to be a sponsor and offer a venue for the Second International Festival of Poetry of Resistance.

As well as hosting events and readings from the Festival, Beit Zatoun has programmed a special segment on the poetry of Mahmoud Darwish and his pivotal role on Palestinian resistance to the occupation by Israel.



Mahmoud Darwish and Palestinian Poetry of Resistance

Talk, video of poet tribute to Darwish, poetry reading in Arabic, English and Hebrew, as well as recorded music of the poems of Darwish. Performance of live music on themes presented.
