World Clean Air Congress

The IUAPPA World Clean Air Congress will bring together specialists from academia, industry, consulting, environmental advocacy groups, and government to present innovative ways to improve air quality, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and minimize environmental impacts. The technical program will address the Congress theme, “Achieving Environmental Sustainability in a Resource Hungry World,” covering fundamental issues related to four focus areas: science, policy, industry, and sustainability.

The Congress will also feature presentations from industry leaders including Mike Harcourt, Former Premier of British Columbia, Mayor of Vancouver, and City Councillor; Martin Williams, Chairman of the Executive Body of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe’s Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution; Edith Ardiente, Vice President, Environmental and Energy Affairs of Navistar, Inc.; and Miriam Lev-on, Executive Director and co-founder of the LEVON Group, LLC.
