Gary Kinsman and Patrizia Gentile provide a startling history of queer surveillance and regulation in Canada in The Canadian War on Queers: National Security as Sexual Regulation, while in Losing Control: Canada's Social Conservatives in the Age of Rights Tom Warner discusses the progress and status of our recent struggles for queer rights, and reveals how today’s social conservatives are attempting to reverse this progress.
