Cassava Latin Rhythms: A Benefit Concert for Beit Zatoun

April 30, 2010

A Benefit Concert for Beit Zatoun

Beit Zatoun is profoundly grateful to CASSAVA LATIN RHYTHMS for donating the entire performance to benefit Beit Zatoun in recognition of the Palestinian influence in Latin America. This is especially true in Chile as proven by the following adage: "Every small village in Chile is sure to have three things: a priest, a policeman and a Palestinian." link: http://www.vivatravelguides.com/south-america/chile/chile-articles/palestine-in-chile/.

CASSAVA LATIN RHYTHMS will make you want to dance to hot Latin sounds, learn about amazingly diverse cultures and transport you to fascinating lands.

Toronto-based CASSAVA performs music to reflect the colour and flavor of the many Latin styles including Salsa, Cha cha-cha and Bolero from Cuba, Bossa Nova and Samba from Brazil, Cumbia from Colombia, as well as contemporary Latin-Jazz and Fusion.
