Nestle Weekend of Action

November 25, 2016 to November 27, 2016

At a recent city council meeting in Guelph, Nestle brought two busloads of people to fill council chambers, taking away seats for local community members. That night Guelph Council was debating on whether to send a letter to the Ontario government expressing its concern that renewing that the Nestlé's permit to take water is not in the best interest of the City of Guelph and the shared watershed.

On Monday, November 28th, the Guelph city council will vote on this motion. show your solidarity to the people of Guelph and Wellington County who have been fighting Nestlé in their community for over a decade!

What: Gather pledges for the Nestlé Boycott
When: Anytime Saturday and Sunday, November 26-27, 2016
Where: Your local supermarket, farmer's market, a high-traffic intersection, to your faith community, at a religious gathering, etc.
Who: Water warriors from your chapter!

While this struggle is happening on the front-lines in Guelph, it concerns all of us who believe in protecting public water and the human right to water for all.
