A story: From the Mountain to the Sea

Mariella and Sarah elegantly weave history and politics into very personal family stories. These stories will not be found in any history books and yet they are crucial to our existence. Working on these stories together, Mariella and Sarah gained a deeper understanding of just how personal the political really is. History influences our stories just as much as our stories influence history. It is our stories that define us as a people and as individuals. When all else disappears, our stories still remain.
