The People’s Organization For Progress will have a Dr Martin Luther King Jr March For Racial Equality, Economic Justice And Peace Friday, January 15, 2016, 12:00 noon beginning at the Lincoln Statue located at the intersection of West Market Street and Springfield Avenue in Newark, New Jersey. Make the birthday of Dr Martin Luther King a day of protest and struggle! Demonstrations across the nation and the world. Everybody into the streets on that day. If you cannot come to Newark engage in some form of protest in your city, town, community or neighborhood. March, boycott, protest, walk out, rally, vigil, civil disobedience, day of absence or day of economic withdrawal. One of them, some of them or all of them. You decide what action is best for your area.

Whatever we do let’s all do something on that day wherever we are at. Let’s have thousands of actions all over the nation and all over the world on that day. Let us shake this system down to its foundations on that day. Never forget the history of the Civil Rights Movement! Long live the Memory of Dr Martin Luther King! Power to the people! Please join, share, and invite others to this important event.
