Connexions Calendar

Multifaith Housing Initiative 'Gather Around the Table' cookbook fundraiser

September 24, 2015

We will be tripling the number of people we help by 2016 by building The Haven - 98 new units and townhouses, focused on families. We will start construction on this community in the Fall 2015 and are currently fundraising to make these homes a reality for those in need.

One of the ways MHI is doing this is through initiatives such as this cookbook compiled and edited by Ellie Topp, a Home Economist and Food Writer.

On Sept. 24, we'll provide a tasting of some dishes from this cookbook, Gather Around the Table: Recipes for Meals to Share!

Copies of the book are now available at Octopus Books, both locations, and will also be available for purchase at this event.

Editor and best-selling cookbook author Ellie Topp will be present to sign books!
