The Museum of Memory and Human Rights of Chile

June 24, 2015 to June 26, 2015

An Exhibition from The Museum Of Memory and Human Rights of Chile

The exhibit is comprised of a selection of 34 photographs and 20 posters chosen from more than a 1,000 pieces donated to the museum. It tells a visual story of an extended period of violation of human rights during the military dictatorship from 1973 to 1990.

It forms the evidence necessary to denounce the Pinochet regime's brutality and injustice in a period of dictatorship. It is also meant to show the practice of state terrorism: executions, disappearance, imprisonment, torture, exile and censorship which underlies all such periods of dictatorship and repression.
