Book: Hard Truths for Canada about Israel and Palestine

May 13, 2015

Michael Keefer's new book, Hard Truths for Canada about Israel and Palestine, offers a forceful critique of the near-unanimous support for Israeli state policies expressed by Canada's political elites. Setting out to help Canadians do what is right in relation to Palestine and Israel, the book demolishes the Harper government's position, which rests upon falsehoods and myths. He argues that it's time for Canadians to recognize the choices that confront us, and in the face of misrepresentations and slanders, to place ourselves firmly on the side of common decency and of solidarity with the oppressed.
