Child Care Centres Walk To Raise Funds for Children's Hospitals
May 07, 2012 to May 18, 2012
Every May, members of the Association of Day Care Operators of Ontario (ADCO) participate in ADCO's annual Kids Helping Kids Walkathon event to raise money for Ontario's four regional children's hospitals. The staff, children and families at each centre coordinate their own special Walkathon day and direct the funds to the children's hospital of their choice--Toronto, London, Hamilton or Ottawa. Centres across the province participate. Since 1987, the event has raised over a million dollars.
