Afrin and Another Genocide by the Turkish State

February 17, 2018

Afrin and Another Genocide by the Turkish State: Radical Teach-In and Public Forum (3rd Meeting)

OISE, University of Toronto, Room 2-212 - 252 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M5S 1V6

Our third 'radical sit-in' will focus on the (re)newed war of the fascist Turkish State against the Kurds in the Afrin region. This military aggression is mapping out a revised strategy of imperialist powers for suppressing the struggle of people for freedom, democracy, and justice in the Middle East.

The complex political situation in the region necessitates the building of a strong solidarity network, therefore, we plan to initiate this important conversation in this sit-in and develop a plan of action.

Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Venue: Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, Rm 2-212, University of Toronto
Location: 252 Bloor St. W. Toronto, ON
