Building Community Strength: Parc Extension In Conversation with East Harlem

This discussion between residents of Parc Extension, in conversation with members of Movement for Justice in El Barrio, will focus on the struggle for housing and access to services.

Movement for Justice in El Barrio, which is an organization in East Harlem (New York City), has led inspiring actions and movements in their neighboorhood to keep people in their homes, push back against bad landlords, and demand people-centred city planning that comes from the bottom up.

The presentation will include some short films and a facilitated discussion.

Whisper translation into French will be provided. The event will take place in English.
