Vancouver: Corporate Capture of Education

September 15, 2017

This is a free event, child friendly and wheelchair accessible.
This event is being hosted on unceded Coast Salish Territories. The event is being organized by the Council of Canadians with the support of the BC Teachers Federation and the Teaching Support Staff Union at SFU.
This event is being organized for people to come together to better understand the corporate influence on education in order to better equip social movements to push back against neo-liberal and pro-corporate policies. Education is a vital part of building alternatives in society. And we must therefore examine who has influence over the education that future generations receive, how it is delivered and who has access.

Time: 6:30pm
Venue: Vancouver Public Library, Peter Kay / Alma VanDusen Room
Location: 350 West Georgia Street Vancouver, BC
