The film examines the rippling social effects of political incarceration on Palestinian families and young people. Intimately depicting the ongoing trauma faced by political prisoners and their families, the film also captures "the remarkable resilience, warmth, and creativity of those who are trying to help a new generation face the future" (Lila Abu- Lughod).
