The Word on the Street (Kitchener)

The Word On The Street is an annual one-day national book and magazine family festival celebrating literacy and the written arts. Held in five cities across Canada on the same weekend in September - Kitchener, Toronto, Halifax, Saskatoon and Lethbridge - The Word on the Street promotes the importance of literacy with free performances and hands-on activities. In 2014, we’re creating a unique literary experience by incorporating downtown venues into the festival. The event takes place in and around Kitchener City Hall.
