Human rights journalist Gideon Levy in Hamilton

March 25, 2015 to March 29, 2015

CJPME is delighted to invite you to hear Gideon Levy, a renowned Israeli author and human rights journalist, in a talk in Hamilton on Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at 7 p.m.

The Independent called him "The most hated man in Israel" (http://ind.pn/1sjqNnJ) because for 30 years, he has reported on Israel's human rights abuses in the West Bank.

Levy - a journalist with Haaretz since 1982 - will talk about the Palestine-Israel conflict in light of the March 17 Israeli elections in his talk entitled: "Israeli Elections: What next for Israel-Palestine?" Levy is a strong critic of Israel's treatment of the Palestinians and a strong supporter of the boycott of Israel. Levy has also questioned the viability of the "two-state solution."

The lecture will be followed by a Q & A period.
