Justice for Michael Mac Issac, Stop Police Shootings

Michael Mac Issac was shot and killed by Durham police on December 2, 2013. At the time, he was naked in the street and most likely having an epileptic seizure. Like in nearly every police shooting, the SIU cleared the officer who killed him.

We demand justice for Michael - that his case be reopened and the officer who shot him be held accountable!

We demand an end to police brutality and police shootings! This disproportionately impacts men of colour and/or who are labelled as in mental health crisis.

We Demand changes in Police training especially towards those in crisis!

We Demand that the SIU conduct their investigations in a thorough and unbiased manner!

Join Michael's family and community to mark the anniversary of his death and demand justice.
