Contact: Ulli Diemer, Co-ordinator
Purpose: Connexions provides information and services for advocacy groups, voluntary and non-profit organizations, and individuals, who are working for social and economic justice, environmental responsibility, democracy, civil liberties, and the creation and preservation of communities.
Connexions works to build links between people who are striving to create positive solutions to critical social, environmental, ecnommic, and international problems.
Simultaneously, Connexions works to make the ideas, goals, organizations, and publications and media of this movement for social change better known and more accessible to the general public.
We believe that real change can happen only thorugh the active involvement of many people working to transform society from the grassroots up. We seek to nurture that involvement by making it easier for activists to share ideas, experiences, strategies, and information with each other, and with everyone who is concenred about our common future.
We seek to encourage people to make connexions between issues and between communities, and to share information, experiences, visions, and strategies.
