Purpose: The Radical Archives of Philadelphia is a community archives that acquires, preserves and makes available material that documents the actions of people and organizations in Philadelphia that represent radical movements. The Radical Archives collects official records of community organizations, personal collections from individuals, ephemera and other material that document the vibrant activist and radical movements in Philadelphia. The Radical Archives makes this material available to anyone interested in researching the history of the city from the viewpoint of the radical people and organizations that have shaped it.
