Abstract: 
The TORONTO ARTS GROUP FOR HUMAN RIGHTS promotes awareness of these rights with special emphasis on the situation of artists and writers everywhere. Although it is a fairly young organization (founded in 1981), the group has sponsored numerous projects, including the recent Blacklisted film series at the Art Gallery of Ontario, Forbidden Films (1984), An Evening with Robert Frank (1984), the Nose Poetry and Performance series (1984), the Amnesty International poster competition (1983), the Writer and Human Rights Congress (1981), and a number of publications and video productions. Membership is $5 per year.
