Abstract: THE GREAT CANADIAN THEATRE COMPANY presents plays on contemporary and sometimes controversial themes. They performe in their own space in Ottawa and often tour to large and small towns in Ontario, occasionally across Canada. Their plays have included:
S. Portait of a Spy (from the Ian Adams novel about the RCMP)
Side Effects (about women and pharmaceuticals)
-Deadly Discovery (about radiation pollution)
Many of their performances are in schools and include discussions with their audiences.
