Abstract: 
RISING UP STRONG examines some of the major themes in the women's movement today. The tape consists ot two parts : "At Work and At Home"; and "Control of Our Bodies".

"At Work and At Home" examines the problems of low wages, job ghettoes, responsability for house-work, and indiquate childcare facilities. It focuses on women who are fighting back, individually and collectively, through unions, at workplaces, in working for day care.

"Control of Our Bodies" looks at the issues of rape, violence against women, contraception, and abortion.
