Abstract: 
This report is the result of studies conducted between May, 1977 and January, 1979. The reports include analyses of child abuse, wife-beating, family violence, and generally attempts to search out the causes and extent of violence in the home. Each report concludes with recommendations.

The report includes information on a Working Group on Wife-Battering, a Legal Working Group, a Working Group on child Abuse, and a Working Group on Education. Many attempts to support the victims of abuse are outlined, such as Transition Houses, Women's Support Group Program, Support Groups for Men who Batter Women. The Report also includes many practical questions for those who are subject to physical abuse, dealing with the nature of the abuse, and the personal response of the abused.

Many resources are included in the report by way of appendices and lists of those who worked on the different aspects of the report. Names and addresses are listed for further contacts.
