The autobiography of Alfred Edward (Rev. A.E.) Smith, 1871-1947. He was a Methodist Minister. then a labour-affiliated social reformer, then a Member of the Legislative Assembly in Manitoba as a Labour Representative, from 1920-22. In 1925 he joined the Communist Party of Canada and remained a member for the rest of his life. This autobiography was published in 1949, after his death, and re-issued in 1977. Both editions are in the Connexions Archive/Library.
